Good morning smoothie

The first recipe I would like to share with you could only be a smoothie, of course. Some of you already know about my new found love for raw food and smoothies are a real game changer! Not only are they easy to make, healthy and satisfying, but also delicious.
Here is a smoothie I love in the morning, to start the day with lots of positive energy.
350ml filtered water
2 medium oranges - peeled and cut in 1-2cm pieces
125g cucumber - unpeeled and cut in 1-2cm pieces
3-4cm piece of ginger - peeled and cut in small pieces
1. Mix all ingredients in a food processor until completely blended. The duration will depend on the type of blender you have. I use a Vitamix and it takes about 30-45s.
2. Refrigerate or add some ice cubes for more freshness.
As with any recipe, I would advice you to use organic produce. In fact, for raw recipes I would put even more emphasis on this practice, so that you can fully get the benefits of these wonderful fruits and vegetables.
Regarding ginger, the amount you use really depends on how much you like it. If you aren't so used to it, start with a little amount. If you are a ginger fan like me, then go all in!
